Let’s be honest, the very last thing the world needs is one more egotistical, self-promoting, and self-obsessing internet blog. We live in a society that  masquerades pride as self-confidence, self-appreciation, and self-esteem while emphatically applauding the father of all vice’s as the ultimate virtue of personal success. By God’s grace, this will not be one of those. Seeing as it is ‘out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks’,  my foremost intention in building this site has been that the person and work of Jesus would be honored in all that is posted here. If this were not the case, we would all have better things to do. It is my vision that the bible would be taught, community strengthened, mission encouraged, and the creator celebrated. At its core, this blog has been divided into three basic themes (Live, Study, Shoot). These correspond practically with the above vision, and I’ll deal with them each in turn…

Live:

Among other things, this site is a social networking tool which will be used to mass-contact and update friends and family all around the globe. Whether that’s to update supporters from an outreach, communicate  vision, or share some personal experience, revelation, or encounter – this is the category to look in.

Study:

I also intend this site to provide readers with  study material. As I write this, I am currently a university student pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies. The reason for this is not because of a plethora of high-paying job opportunities complete with plush office chairs but because I believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God containing absolute truths about life, God, and the world we live in. I also believe that we live in a period where the authority and importance of scripture is continually being marginalized and trodden underfoot just when the world is desperately in need of its guidance. I for one, have an inexplicable infatuation with the word of God and fervently intend to spread the infection. Because of this I’ll will be posting articles, book reviews, notes, and thoughts from both my academic and personal studies here on the web.

Shoot:

Recently a great passion of mine has been photography. A lens can be an incredible tool when used to interact with what you are seeing or experiencing. It causes you to slow down, look closer, experiment, and appreciate far more of what is around you. Essentially Photography is a celebration of light, beauty, color, life and their creator. As a result much of the website has been tailored to play host to the consequences for friends, family, and readers to enjoy…
